I played in progressive rock bands and showbands in the 1970's but when the showband era ended with a thud around 1980 I started playing solo. This ranged from playing in traditional piano bars to developing a one man band show doing an orchestrated band song repetoire which was very interesting. In 1985 after playing for many years sitting down kicking 2 octaves of bass pedals wired into my Minimoog and playing 3 keyboards stacked in front of me the Macintosh computer was introduced with MIDI software and the rest as they say, was history. A 16ch 32 x PAR38 MIDI dimmer pack lighting system was added, fog machine, band-size PA system and an 80lb video projector taking the term "one man band" to reality. This solo show continues today that ranges from straight piano bar work to full production big band, 50's 60's R&B, disco, classic rock and 80's pop rock.
